We believe in bikes

We’ve selected quality bike brands that offer you real choice of style, form and function.

Trek Bicycle is the leading bike brand worldwide for good reason. When Trek began in 1976, the mission was simple: Build the best bikes in the world. Today, their mission is wider: Help the world use the bicycle as a simple solution to complex problems. The bicycle is the most efficient form of human transportation. It can combat climate change, ease urban congestion, and build human fitness. It brings us together, yet allows us to escape. And it takes us places we would never see any other way. From the ground breaking aerodynamics of the Speed Concept range to the acclaimed FX range of leisure and commute bikes, Trek is unrivalled in it’s approach to quality and customer support. It is only one of the few major bike brands designing and manufacturing bikes in the US. It makes all of its top end 700 series OCLV carbon bikes at Trek’s HQ. This ensures that design and product are at the heart of it’s business.

Bianchi is the legendary Italian high-performance bicycle manufacturer. They have been at the forefront of bike technology for over a century, and it shows – the class, level of finish and attention to detail is evident in every frame. In recent years Bianchi have been at the very top of their game and delivered some of the most innovative and stylish bikes on the market. Building on a heritage of race winning legends, such as Coppi, Pantani, Gimondi and 15 Grand Tour wins, the current range boasts top level thoroughbred race machines, specialist racing and sportive bikes as well as track and time trial bikes. At Pedalworks we stock Bianchi road bikes from entry-level to the top-end Infinito CV and Oltre models.  The truly beautiful Oltre XR4, the top frameset of the road range was recently voted as the best road and race bike money can buy…come to our store and judge for yourself.

Cannondale   has come a long way since its birth in a crowded loft above a pickle factory in 1971.
The company grew quickly during its early years. It introduced the cycling industry’s first bicycle trailer, the Bugger, and added successful cycling apparel and accessory lines while earning a strong reputation for innovation and quality.

That reputation proved invaluable when Cannondale introduced its first bicycle, a Touring model, in 1983. The cycling world’s eyebrows were raised by building bicycles around handcrafted, oversized aluminum frames that were both lighter and more flex-resistant than the steel models that dominated the industry at the time.  This success was quickly followed with a road racing model and a mountain bike model in 1984. This creative reputation encouraged both bike dealers and customers to join the revolution, and widespread industry skepticism quickly gave way to a host of imitators.

In 1997, Cannondale was the first company to feature large, oversized aluminum bike frames on cycling’s biggest stage, the Tour de France. After powering his Cannondale to four stage victories at the 1999 Tour, the flamboyant Saeco team leader proclaimed “Cannondale is the best bike.”
With a reputation for shaking up the industry, we continued to push the entire cycling community with the release of our first carbon/aluminum frame, the Six13, flaunting the low weight with prison striped jerseys that read: Legalize My Cannondale.
In the last 14 years, Cannondale won five Giro d’Italia Maglia Rosas, arguing that pink should be added to its brand colors.

On the mountain bike side, Cannondale started the dual suspension revolution way back in 1990 by introducing the Delta V E.S.T., the industry’s first dual suspension bike, and followed it up with the equally radical Super V and Scalpel platforms. Cannondale riders dominated the cross country and downhill scene into the new millennium with the biggest names in dirt like Cadel Evans, Alison Sydor, Missy Giove, Cedric Gracia, Christophe Sauser, Anne-Caroline Chausson, Tinker Juarez and Brian Lopes to name a few. The creation of The Cut freeride crew brought together the audacious riding talents of Aaron Chase, Chris Van Dine and Mick Hannah. Technologies like HeadShok, Lefty, innovative suspension and optimized aluminum and carbon design directly translated into race victories and riding that continually pushed the limits of what’s possible on a bike.

Giant was founded in 1972 with a mission: to create better bikes and improve the cycling experience. From the very start, innovation and manufacturing expertise set Giant apart. It began with lightweight chromoly frames. Giant’s ability to produce high-quality bikes at an affordable price allowed more riders to experience cycling in a whole new way. Since then, Giant has pioneered advancements in both aluminium and composite engineering. Giant introduced the first affordable carbon fibre bike, the Cadex 980 C, and revolutionized high-performance road bikes with its Compact Road Design. In mountain biking, Giant’s Maestro Suspension established a new level of performance for off-road riding and racing.

Over the last four decades, Giant has grown well beyond its manufacturing roots to become the world’s leading brand of quality bicycles and gear. With more than 12,000 retail partners worldwide, the company aims to inspire adventure in all riders, from casual to competitive. Giant bikes win world championships. They win design awards, too. But most importantly, they win the hearts of riders who choose to make cycling a part of their lives.

Giant aims to be a trusted friend on every road, path and trail that unfolds before you.
